Jezebel on how to defeat winter itch. My skin is making me crazy right about now, mostly my legs.

Mental Floss answers the question that has literally been bothering me since elementary school: when did Americans lose their British accent?

Momofuku is now selling mix versions of their popular baked goods. I like the idea of trying some of them from scratch, though. I've made the compost cookies and they're not really difficult. The cereal milk sounds like a lot of fun to make. (Epicurious)

Why are Manic Pixie Dream Girls getting dumber?  Because they totally are. (The Gloss).

How to salvage moldy cheese. (Consumerist)

Thank you, America's Test Kitchen, for making me TOTALLY WANT TO TRY TO MAKE A WEDDING CAKE.

Fresh Air did an interview this week with Nicholas Money, who studies fungus. He shared some interesting facts about mushrooms. (NPR)

  1. Tasted samples of one of the Momofuku cookies at Williams Sonoma, the package just says MILK and it too me a while to realize it was from the MF Milk Bar etc. etc. And it just tasted like a cookie from a mix. I wouldn't pay for it, let alone $16 for it when it only makes a dozen.
